THE RITUAL
For a purifying cleanse, use dry hands to scoop out a dollop of oil gel. Spread onto dry skin all over the face, including eyelids. Take time to massage the oil all over the face gently. If wearing eye makeup and mascara, gently massage over eyelids and eyelashes in a circular motion until you look like a raccoon!
There are two options for rinsing off the oil…
For a spa-like experience, after massaging Azulene onto your skin, take a steamy warm washcloth and gently drape over your face. Inhale the intoxicating aroma and feel the day's stress melt away along with sunscreen, makeup, and environmental pollutants. Gently sweep washcloth over your face wiping off Azulene and the day's dirt. Rinse the washcloth and repeat it. Softly pat skin dry with a clean towel to reveal immaculate, soft, supple skin. 
Alternatively …
After massaging oil onto face, wet fingertips and continue to massage in a circular motion forming a light, milky emulsion. Rinse with warm water. Softly pat dry revealing clean, hydrated skin.
Careful not to get Azulene into eyes, it won't burn, but the world will be a bit foggy for a few minutes. You can resume clarity by simply rinsing eyes out with water.
PRO TIP
For an extra deep cleanse, use Azulene as the first step in the Double Cleansing Method. Wash your face in two steps, first by using Azulene, followed by Defi or Everclear cleansers. The first step draws out oil-based impurities such as sebum, SPF, and pollutants, while the second step cleanses water-based debris such as sweat and dirt.
